Well I sure as hell man.. along with thousands of other people, the things they do to children and families is in human..
Surprisingly, they somehow feel that they are doing there job. MY ASS. What about the little boy in Windham CT that was stabbed by his mother whom was capable of taking care of her handicap son but with a little help from the department. It is sickening.
I my self have had a few run in with these disgusting people, they do not care about anything, they care about intimidating people, and prey on the people who do not know there rights
So I am going to tell you as someone who has been though this bull. NUMBER ONE NEVER speak to them, if they do not have a warrant than they have no right to enter your home. Close the door. The slyness of a poisonous snake steps in… your signing this paper and that one, and then they have you. I have learned that these CT DCF workers are in a sort like cops, they ask they pry because they are trying to make a case. So if you do not allow then to enter, and say NOTHING you are using one of your amendments, which so many people lived and dies for us to get the rights we deserve please do not let these people ruin what so many fought for.
The Workers from the CT DCF.. well ask yourself how many good things do you hear about them? Not much. We are a private organization, just fed up with the system, and we need people like you to help stop the way these people work, but most importantly.the children and families who suffer. It takes a few minutes to send some emails.. and on our site, which is a freedom of speak and information, there is a number to every active employee for the CT DCF and email address. and just for laughs, the one who calls the kettle black, the commissioner she has a DUI. Go figure, just keep on sweeping your dirty deeds under that filthy carpet.

I am so fed up I have been dealing with DCF since 2007. They refuse to give my children back to me although I have met all their qualifications. I found a job…not one but two. I created a stable enviroment for my children and I. I completed their drug assements. Took urines every single one passed no stubstance in me. I am so upset and hurt most of all because I am in this court system and I love and need my kids. I hope someone, anyone can do something about how this agency works.
Please, call me. We have to Do more than say it on websites(which is great but they won’t care or change!)
4 weeks ago, my ex left my 3 1/2 y/o daughter in the “care” of 2 friends. The downstairs neighbors saw my daughter hanging out the 2nd floor window waving to them, freaked, called the police, walked in and took my daughter without the “caregivers” even noticing. The police called my ex, she came home and took charge. I got a call from her 1 week later telling me Dcf had been to her place and that’s how I initially found out about it. My ex wouldn’t have said a thing if Dcf had not came. I hounded Dcf for days to get the “investigator” Liz Santiago on the phone. 2 weeks at this point. Took one more week for her to call to set up an appointment to discuss this with me. Week 4, I’m waiting for a call back as to the day and time. I work as a paramedic, but am home in the evenings and have 3 days off!! Complaint to supervisor, nothing. On top of it all, my ex was evicted last week. They are useless.
I encourage everyone and anyone to comment on a post, or tell what you think of ct dcf, what ct dcf has done, the wrongs. They are good at TWO things…. ONE: making a lot of money for lying. And TWO taking advantage, like napping in there state cars. There is a list of how disgusting the ct dcf, but all of the people here are doing a great job adding up how useless the CT department of children and families really is. Keep up the good work. And no, not you DCF as I have said before, it’s not an agency, it’s a circus, but it’s one nobody is happy with.Useless ct dcf

And even if you did something they consider wrong, please contact me regardless!! Strength in numbers …by the way-do not sign anything for these people, tape record or videotape them when they come.
DCF here in CT, let a man get away with breaking my son skull, I have a CHRO complaint pending but I need people to call Gov. Dannel Malloy and tell him that you would like to see the DCF workers who let a man get away with breaking my 6 week old son skull, should be fire or at least arrested as per state law…his office just told me to hire a lawyer …sad
I have a bone to pick with the Massachusetts DSS/DCF department. I got taken from my parents back in 2003 because my dad was working late hours and my mom was in and out of the hospital. We were living in motel 6 because we were evicted from our house after the landlord decided to raise the rent up 1000 dollars over the course of 2 months. (she knew the social worker who had repeatedly came to the house, funny right?)
Since our dad ddidnt usually come home until late to support all of us, our next door neighbor was babysitting us. (she was scheduled to leave in just two months.) DSS threatened to take us away unless we had a babysitter, and we told our worker that our neighbor was our babysitter, and she did not investigate that. (< – funny)
i was moved to my Aunts house. My syster was raped repeatedly for 3 months when she was 15 years old by our cousin at night, and she was removed from the home, but they kept us there for another year.
My social worker also knew that my aunt had been stealing our clothing checks and ssi money from my mothers death in 2005. She sent two notices to my aunt, she continued to do steal. (honestly, i think they never arrived.)
We eventually got tired of living there and requested to be moved to another foster home, since the checks werent coming in. so we moved, the checks came in again.
then, i sign out of dss at 18 and join the navy. once i get out, i sign back in to get benefits. My social worker had a 'case' pending against her, so she quit.
One thing i am happy about is the new social worker they assigned me. shes a sweetheart, and doesnt deserve getting into a department like DSS/DCF. She doesn't know what she's gotten herself into! But shes the only social worker to actually work with me, and actually returns my calls.
not to mention, my current foster mother has some serious anger/mood swing issues. I cant stand her sometimes.
